Waaaaaaa........the road is bad and there's no electricity. Waaaaaa.......... Hehe. Ok, I was quite terrified with the road. You know the road on the hills. Gravel and proned to landslide. Not to mention the height. Ergh! But everybody says that I'll get used to it. No electricity, I hope I'll get used to it too. The electric posts are up but not yet the cable. Some say it will be done this year. But then again who knows how long it will take.
Looks like I can only go out on the weekends. I still havent found a steady place to stay. But I'll managed. Nevertheless, I'm ok with it. There are not many pupils. This will give me the opportunity to focus more on each one of them. Which is good.
Anyway, because of my quite challenging life there, I'm planning to get the best out of my weekends and holidays. So there will be always something to look forward to. Then life will never be so dull. Yay!

my first posting dulu pun tu rural area also. no electricity, no telephone line etc...and i was one of only two female teachers in the school. i was really living a quiet and slow life there but to think of it again, im glad i had that particular experience.
im sure you will manage.
I'm smwhere in ranau. Yeah, it will be an experience. :)
